REIKI (HOLY FIRE) LEVEL 2 (6 Hours)

**Reiki Level 2 is taught in conjunction with Reiki Level 1,
taking both workshops is not required, but it is highly recommended**

Reiki Level 2 requires that the student has completed the Reiki Level 1, and has had sufficient practice for the energy to be flowing with less variation in intensity. Usually at least three months will have passed since the student took the Reiki Level 1. Once you are capable of channeling the Reiki energy then you will move on to training Level 2. Without a clear understanding on the science of Reiki and the personal experience of the life forces in your body, progress from Level 2, training is challenging.

In Reiki Level 2 initiation, the central channel is opened up to a greater level, and the amount of energy that can be channeled increases.

• The Power Symbol. This increases the amount of energy that can be channeled. It enables the student to open and close the energy connection when treating oneself or others. It allows the student to use the Universal Energy to energetically cleanse and purify places. The power symbol can also be used as a protection around a home, car, etc.

• The Mental Symbol. This allows the student to enter into a different level of energy, which works on the mental and emotional levels of the person receiving the energy. It is therefore used for mental and emotional healing. It is particularly helpful in dealing with anger, sadness, anxiety, depression and problems with relationships, and when sending Reiki to the cause of a condition. It can also be used to help stop unwanted habits such as smoking and stop drinking, etc.

• The Distance Symbol. This allows healing to be directed and sent at a distance. The receiver does not have to be physically present, but could be located anywhere in the world. As a non-local spiritual technology, this symbol can also be used to send Reiki into the future. If the student wants to send Reiki to something he or she plans to do, they simply direct the energy to arrive at a particular time when it will be ready when needed (this also works for the past -- Reiki can be sent to specific events in the past, or to the cause of a problem, even if the cause is unknown).

Note:   Two extra symbols (Mental and Distance Symbols) are taught in Level 2 (total three symbols including the Power Symbol from Level 1)
